I've also been lucky (so far!!) not to get any on my bump, but I do have quite a lot on my boobs. But having said that I've had some on my boobs ever since I got them (the boobs that is?!!?) I think they grew overnight!!

I'm also not sure how effective these creams are. I put Mama mio cream on my bump religiously twice a day and it is lovely - quite expensive though. I sometimes put it on my boobs but not as often, only because I sometimes put my bra on before remembering to smother on the cream.

xx

I use bio oil. I got some when i was pregnant with Hollie, but only really in the last four weeks. They faded loads though after a while and you can hardly see them now. They will not stay red forever. Just use bio oil everyday and continue to use it after the baby is born and this will help them fade. I havent got any new ones yet and im hoping not too!! x

Try not to panic, you may have been through a spurt which resulted in the stretchie but that doesn't mean you are going to just carry on getting them until the end, and like the others said they will fade.

I haven't got any yet and i'm hoping i wont (wishful thinking!). I use bio oil everyday as it can't do any harm! My sister and sil didn't get any with their pregnancies and both have existing ones from teen years, as do i, so heres hoping......

I was discussing stretch marks with hubby last week and I mentioned that I didn't have any 'yet'.... hubby said that I was abit porky before getting pregnant and so I obviously have space to grow

Apparently its the case that if you get one you get loads and if you dont get any then you aren't likely to ever get them and some even say that its hereditory.....

BTW anyone who is trying anything to get rid of these its a complete waste of money!! Sorry, ive been using bio oil and coconut butter on the ones on my thighs for the last 6months (since they arrived) and they have only got worse - im down to the conclusion that its just a money making scheme....

Good luck!!
This isn't true because in my first preg, a few stretch marks started to appear as very tiny red dots on my hips and my breasts, which "stretched" towards the end, and i only got one or 2 tiny ones towards the bottom of my bump at the end. Nothing else. And i had a massive bump. I gave birth at 36 weeks, but ppl felt sorry for me and thought i was overdue because i was so big (lots and lots of water retention as well as i got pretty fat!) so wasn't a small bump either!

They're so faded now you can barely see any of them, except for the top of the ones on my hips which are ever so slightly pinky

I know EXACTLY how you feel without sounding big headed iv always had quite nice even smooth skin on my tummy and at 27 weeks found this little red stretchie which by the time i delivered at 34 weeks is around 3 inches long and i can fit my fingertip into it i also got loads of others and totally dreaded to think what id be like if id gone to term! i know its no comfort but you really wont care once your baby is in your arms although in total honesty i do still have down days about my body now. However i can promise u there worth it xxx

ps i used bio oil cocoa butter tummy butter and all that crap nothing worked, so if ppl used bio oil and say it prevented them it didnt they just werent going to get them anyway cause iv read sooooooooooo many threads now saying ppl have used bio and its done sweet f.a at stopping them. although its good at fading them?

xx

I have been using bio oil since about two months most days, I'm now 26 weeks and all of a sudden i can see them appearing under my skin, very light pink at the minute but they have just appeared after quite a big growth spurt across my bump. I'm now rubbing it in furiously several times a day lol, i know its pointless and i did expect them but don't want to get terrible ones.
