Baby resting on the sciatica nerve

I was getting some pains on my side in the lower left area and it seems the little man head has found a pillow on Mommys sciatica nerve. Which is why im in pain and have a hard time walking. the pain also shoots down my leg. i wonder is anyone else has gotten this? Im going to make a new post and ask. but BOY it hurts.
Had anyone else ever had this and my big question is , Did the baby end up moving or did this last for the rest of the pregnancy. he has been there for 2 weeks now.
The Dr said he may or may not move....I guess im on "sit" mode for now.

Katelyn lies on my periodically. Guess I'm lucky she moves. It's a sharp shooting pain in my pelvis and down my left leg. Can make walking really really painful. And sometimes sitting down it hurts.

Hope he moves for you soon hun xx

I'm going through the same thing right now. It's awful, isn't it. My LO is doing quite the number on my lower back right too and I'm not even really showing yet. My doc told me that when the baby finally decides to move up I'll feel better and then I'll get bigger and be in pain again. Thanks for the reassurance
Hope he moves for you soon!!

hiya michele, had to post on here as i had Joshua sitting on my sciatic nerve when i was pregnant with him, unfortunatly 4 me it ended with me having a DVT (deep vain thrombosis) don't want 2 alarm u as i have a history of this in my family but just be aware that little movement could cause this (but pls dont worry!!)
I was told to get on all fours and rock back and forth to try and persuade baby to move, also to basically be on all fours and clean skirting boards and stuff like that. Maybe you could give this a try.
Just make sure u try and keep moving little but often, i know its painful. xx

Thats I will try that getting on all fours and rocking At this point I'll take ANY advice. And its does too go shooting into my lower back feels like a electric shock going threw there.
Im going to the OB next Weds, is there anyway the Dr can move him ? Would they? This is a new situation for me.
