I havent had one for about 3 weeks and now theyre back again and ive noticed its always accompanied by blocked nose... if i have a blocked left nostril the pain will be in the left eye and vice versa.. anyone else still getting this??? im worrying its something serious. I asked mw when i last spoke with her to be told it's "hormonal"?? for 6 months???

Yep i get these kind of headaches and nasal congestion too. I've had sinus problems as long as i can remember (almost constantly since getting pregnant )and these headaches for me are usually sinus headaches. If it sinus headache it will usually hurt behind ur eye and around ur eye socket (especially the side that is blocked due to pressure), ur cheekbones and at the base of ur skull will usually hurt too, and it can hurt really bad (like you've been punched in the face!). Steam helps ( like a hot shower etc) and saline solution nasal spray from chemist. If it gets really bad u might have a sinus infection and should get some anti-biotics. I wouldnt be too worried if I were you, but it's worth checking with ur dr. if your worried, hope this helps, and ur feeling better soon!xx

I get it bad in the mornings and it eases off after paracetamol. I was prescribed antihestimines (sp?) from the dr but didnt like the fact that she had to look it up in her medical dictionary before telling me they were safe to take in pregnancy. A dr did that during my last pregnancy and I later found out i shouldnt have been prescribed them in the first place... instincts had it that i didnt feel right taking them anyway so i suffered. i dont remember having these migraines tho.

I totally forgot about that topic lol, sorry if I didnt reply to a post you made. No I dont want any, well, I was gonna buy some but wanted some advice on it first. I have since decided that as Im having enough problems as it is at the moment, i'll not add more to it by buying diagnostic sticks. If anyone offered to send me some tho, I really appreciate the offer but will say no for now xxx thankya xxx

In my pregnancy book it says that between 20-24 weeks you can find you get nasal congestion, obviously some weird symptom of prgenancy that you wouldn't normally think of! I had it and I've also had a really bad head cold thats going round, but if it's presistent then go back to the doctor

urghh! i've had nasal congestion from day one and it's been really bad the last few weeks and was causing headaches in the base of my skull

I got a Sterimar spray from the chemist (a saline nasal spray that's suitable for use in pregnancy) and it worked wonders for me- at first it took a couple of days but now I just squirt in a morning and I'm clear within half and hour...
