My DH works about 45-50 minutes away by public transport - depending on the journey. I would be so worried as my DD5 will be home with me but thankfully, my Mum is coming from the USA exactly a week before my baby is due. She will be staying with me for the entire month which is great but I just hope that the baby won't come early! I know my DH will drop everything and come home immediately.

DH works about an hour away, but lift shares, so doesn't always have a car...
Mum lives next door though, so I guess in an emergency DD would go to her or dad and the other one could come with me!

My hubby works abroad so will be a few thousand miles away! I'm hoping baby will be a little late so it times with him being home from work.
My family all live in Scotland and I'm in England, so they can't come with me. I'm hoping one of my friends will be ok to come, but they have kids etc. Don't fancy labour alone!

I'm more worried about how I'm going to get to the hospital! We don't have a car and some people have told me taxis won't take you in labour! Still I am working until 5 days before due date so maybe bubs will come early and then I can just take the lift upstairs to the labour ward (having baby at hospital where I work!).

We are only 45 mins walk away so OH can either get bus / train or if desperate run to hospital to meet me!

My BF drives a lorry and normally goes to Southampton every day so I'm hoping that I'll either go into labour sometime in the evening or night, or that the baby would take a while to come if he was already nearly in Southampton. (From South Wales it's about 4 ish hours in a lorry)

I've heard first babies take ages to come out labour wise so hopefully all would be well!

My hubby works 2 hours away and he stays there 2 nights a week (Mon/Tues), back on the Weds night, then works from home Thurs/Fri. I think nearer the time he will drive home Mon/Tues nights so he's always here in the night. If I go into labour during the day he'll just have to drop everything and jump in the car quick sharp! I'm assuming I'll be in labour more than 2 hours anyway x

My OH works 15 min drive away, then its 20-30 min drive to hospital.
He works for his dad so if I need him at work he can just leave.

Hopefully we are moving to the town tho so OH can just run home - its like a 10 min walk from his work then its 30-40 min drive as that road is busier with less overtaking places.
