I'm Currently Feeling: | Jerky movements.. So, as some of you who read my posts know, my little one hasn't been very active the past couple days. This morning, he was very active, but the movements he was making were very jerky and could be felt on both sides of my belly at the same time. They weren't in a pattern, and it felt like you know when you get a cramp? It felt like his body was having spasms inside of me or all his muscles were tensing for some reason. These movements were VERY uncomfortable and almost felt.. like they hurt.. but they didn't exactly. Anybody got advice? | | | | Status: Online

I don't really have any advice other than to ring your midwife if you are at all worried, im sure everything is fine but if you need reassurance you should give her a quick ring. Hope everything is ok for you sweetheart xx | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | thanks, I figure the better way to explain it is 'twinges', it's odd I don't know, it may be the hiccups? | | | | Status: Online

| My first thought was hiccups too - but I haven't experienced this yet as I'm a few weeks behind you so couldn't be sure. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | If it is hiccups, they will be in a rhythm. Maybe baby was just stretching out and trying to find a more comfortable position. It does hurt when they push their arms and legs at the same time. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I agree with the suggestions above and wanted to add maybe as he gets bigger he's got less room so the way you feel the movements can change too.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I felt stretches this morning... something on one side and something on the other side of the belly... not really jerky but a definite pressure and not particularly comfy | | | | Status: Offline
