hey girls,

thanks for all of your replies.

well to update you, the baby was fine nice strong heartbeat and the doctor said that he cant see any abnormalities that would mean surgery at birth and that if there are any defects when the baby is born they should only be very small ones

i asked if he can tell us if its a boy or girl and he said "nope, i've done my job and made sure the heart is okay i'm not here for that" and he wouldnt venture anywhere below the chest area with the doppler thingie it was soooo frustrating!!

i've got my anomoly scan on thursday anyway so we should defo find out then if the baby co-operates. x
