I walked in to my Doctors appointment at about 16 weeks and after checking baby's heartbeat he said "Have you been able to feel baby move? You probably thought it was just gas but I am pretty sure you have felt him by now" so it definitely is possible, took me up to about 17 weeks to be able to tell though :P

I have had the exact same feeling. Almost like baby is rolling over. It is the strangest sensation ever. I haven't felt any kicks yet but felt the rolling sensation a few times over the last couple of weeks.

I got movement at 16 weeks, so I don't think you are too early. Just yesterday I got a 'tap,tap,tap' when I was bending over to tie my shoe. I thinks I was making bubs a little cramped! lol!
I think it is likely you felt it. Its weird, you're never 100% certain with your first but then you know its not something you have felt before....Congrats!
