"doing things" which in turn causes breathlessness and rapid heart rate? anyone else?

so today i wanted to clean. i was bending down, getting on the carpet, picking things up, blahblah blah- and i could feel myself getting out of breath so i sat down- i then took my blood pressure and my pulse shown 125. I have been resting up all week and my pulse has been fine, 70-80 at the most, and today it was waaaay high. anyone else get this?

Hi ya, I get it too. I only have to walk up and down the stairs once and I'm out of breath. I have to sometimes take deep breaths to calm my heart rate down! Doctor said its all part of pregnancy, so I'm not worry about it too much at the moment. x x x

yep me too, stairs are the thing that get me and ironing - maybe it's just an aversion to housework for me

I have nearly fainted twice today, and am huffing and puffing. Hope you feel better soon. X

I actually fainted at antenatal, and the exact same moment another girl did. Looking back it was hilarious, but horrible at the time. I came to and the physio that was taking the class was screaming for help!!

Yep me too re: the rapid heart rate and the huffing and puffing. I can hardly make it up an incline and once I get there (or up stairs etc) I have to stop and wait cos I can't speak and feels like my heart is in my throat!
And yes bending down ain't too good either... oh well.... what do you do?

I struggled over the bath last night washing both my girls hair (both winge-bags with it!), and my eldest suddenly said "Mum, you sound like you've run a mile!" I was like "Thanks love!".

Then told them if they both behaved and didn't struggle so much i'd of been finished 10 mins ago and wouldn't be huffing and puffing everywhere!

The joys of pregnancy though.....look like a whale, sound like darth-vader! lol

xxx

Housework well my dog knows the comand ''pick-up'' so I can pretty much get her to pick any item up if I point to it or there is a few actual items she knows so that makes it easy
