"doing things" which in turn causes breathlessness and rapid heart rate? anyone else? - Page 2

I feel like I'm heavy breathing all the time. Must be what it's like to be very unfit I guess!

happens to me all the time and always has when pg. sometimes its so bad a think i might have a heart attack.

lol, this made me giggle... we have a king size bed that sits up really high (i now have to use a step stool to get in and out), but i tell ya what, if i walk up the stairs and crawl in the bed i feel like i have run a 5k marathon! lol

I am the same way...when I have to walk across campus to administration (I am a teacher)I am winded....the other night during a basketball game (I am also an Athletic Trainer) I was squatted down (which is getting harder to do) and had my head down talking to the athlete and I felt my face get flushed and felt like it was starting to give off heat...also got a little dizzy. Guess I won't be doing that again.

Oh my god yes!

I've had a really fast heart since January, it goes up to 145+ sometimes and I've had a few really horrible palpitations too.

My GP wanted to refer me to a heart specialist because I had a clot in my lung with my last pregnancy and they are keeping a close eye on me.

They scanned my heart, done a 24hr tape on it, but my heart is perfectly healthy except for it going really fast.

God knows how high it goes when Im busy doing day to day jobs, must be sky high.

I worry how it will cope with labour! But they have reassured me it will be ok, so fingers crossed!
