Oh, that reminds me of a comment that irritates me and always has..."get your sleep now". Why, we can't save it up and use it at a later date. LOL!

I don;t think it matters if you are a 1st, 2nd or 3rd or more type mom. Each pregnancy will be different. Circumstances will be different. Things you thought you knew will change and things you didn't know could happen.

Look at me. I am having my fourth. My first three were all different and this one is proving to be as well. With my first I was a single mom the entire pregnancy. THe pregnancy was a breeze. Slept at night, had one day of having morning sickness. Had a ton of energy. Labour was hard. 21 hours. I thought that was hard then I learn of women who are in labour for over 30 hours. Tip my hat to them I do. Within 6 months I was working and going to school and being a mom all on my own.

When I got married and had my second pregnancy was a little hard. Still sleeping easily at night. But had 3 months straight of morning sickness. Had a ton of energy and at the last month I packed up my house and moved to another town. Un packed, painted my babies room and then had my son. Still had a lot of energy.

My third was the hardest. Morning sickness through the whole 9 months. BLeeding the last month. But had a ton of energy still and was still sleeping at night. I was taking care of a toddler, my 8yr old and raising a litter of german shepherd pups too. I am a dog breeder and trainer. So a lot of work.

THis pregnancy so far is exhausting. I never used that word with any of my others. I am tired all the time. I barely sleep at night and am up every hour to piddle. Sleep is something I miss. Wish I could find where it is hiding. And now with this spotting I am stressed to boot.

So to me no one can tell someone else what to expect. Because they just don't know. They don't even know how that child will be. I lucked out with all my kids. They were good sleepers and were all sleeping through the night within a couple of months. Knock on wood that I will be this lucky agian. So if anyone tries to tell me how it will be I just tell them that time will only tell. No one can predict how people or their bodies will manage.

Sorry for the lecture if that is how it looks.
