I've heard juice can do it. Mainly b/c of the sugar. most commmonly orange juice but any other juice would be fine I'm sure. They all have plenty of sugar in them. I have my gender scan set up for the next saturday which would make me the same weekage as you. So it's nice to see I"m not the only one who doesn't want to wait until 20 weeks to find out!!

I have something sugary just before i use my doppler. I think it wakes them up like it does to us. I know i had an early scan before and didn't have breakfast, bubs hardly moved at all. Looked like they were fast asleep! lol xxx

Yup a chocolate bar and a can of fizzy orange should get baby moving.

Yep, we had ours at 16 + 6 and were told to take a bottle of pop and choccie bar. As it turned out we didn't need to and she was so busy trying to eat her foot that she showed the world what she was quite happily!

Enjoy, it is an amazing experience xxx

At my last scan I had a glass of cold water beforehand, really made the baby dance!

still energy drink, like Lucozade sport My mate has been having scans every 2weeks for the past couple of months (her fluid was low) and the little one kept there legs shut the whole time! Except yesterday, after she had a bottle of lucozade sport the baby decided it would move then wave there arm at them she's having a little girl just like she always wanted

yes eating something sugary will get the baby moving so you will see loads of movement as i did this for mine but now i really regret it because the sonographer found it hard to get any clear shots as baby moving distorted them. But she did have an easy job telling the sex.
