What's normal for one person won't be normal for someone else.
My placenta is slap bam in the middle, on the front of my uterus and I only feel bubs if I'm laying on my side. Sometimes I get a few kicks down below and I feel them in my bottom too but she goes through phases. I'm not worried and you shouldn't be either. The midwives won't care until you're about 30 weeks.

Even so, my friend's little girl hardly ever moved, she was downright lazy! They used to give my friend hot chocolate to help wake her up. Now she's 4 and won't sit still!

Im 24 weeks on monday, im having a girl. She is constantly moving day and night. During the day i feel movements mostly around my belly button, come night she is jumping on my bladder. Im also seeing all the movement (i guess its cos im skinny) this is also my 2nd pregnancy. Pregnant with my son, movement was all the time also but always up high.

Dont stress, as long as you are feeling something then alls well.

im 24 weeks too, and i was going to post exactly the same question!! i have only really felt a couple of what i would call proper kicks, the rest is still kinda flutters or pops and its definatley only when i'm lying down, when i go to bed at night or first thing in the morning. was getting worried that i hadnt felt anything at all for a couple of days, but this morning, while i was singing along loudly to the radio i got the biggest kick yet, think i was getting told to shut up, lol

I feel bubs every day now. She kicks me at my desk, whilst im walking, and also when in bed. I have an anterior placenta too so Im kinda surprised at how much Im feeling her! I must say though, Its always quite low down.

I wouldnt worry about it yet. As someone else said, they wont care too much until you are about 30 plus weeks.

I feel mine most in the AM and PM, when I'm lying in bed or sitting on the couch. I also feel kicks mid afternoon when I'm usually sitting in my office. Other than that it's pretty random and dependent on LO's mood. Sometimes right after lunch, sometimes right before. It varies. The last week has actually been fairly quiet but then I had all the usual symptoms (for me) of a growth spurt (was expecting it, but ugh the tired, starving, crampy, blech!). Today LO was back having a baby disco party this morning before I got up.

I feel the baby a lot, but if im lying down i do feel him/her more. Like everyone says, we are all different and it depends on how your lil man is lying! xx

Hey honey,

Congrats on reaching 24 weeks. xx

I feel the same, the last 3 days have been really really quiet again. I've felt movments but really gentle in that i almost feel like I'm imagining them. That was until this morning, I accidentally banged my glass against my cereal bowl and it made a really loud noise. Well he booted me, it was the first definite kick I'd felt for a few days.

Well this afternoon he had the most actice afternoon/evening in ages, DH even got to feel him moving about - for the first time properly.

I'm just a couple of days ahead and I'm sure you get lots of wiggling and moving soon.

My boss (who is also a good friend) always says to me when you think about how much they sleep when they get here. They are probably mostly sleeping when they are quiet.

xxx
