Men do grow up!

Amazing how different hubby has been over the years with regards to pregnancies.

Truly, he's been wonderful this time around. He actually is starting to care about me lifting heavy things, etc. The thought never occurred to him before. And, hey, even though he hasn't helped with groceries etc. (Mostly because he's actually working so can't help.) he keeps telling me I shouldn't be carrying anything heavy.

He's been amazing throughout some of my snappy times, not that there are many, but there have been some.

And amazing that he is trying to deal with our other two kids when I've fallen asleep early at night. Telling them mommy needs her rest, watch mommy's tummy, and more.

They do grow up, I assure you!

I would like to add. Many of you complain about your OH's reactions during pregnancy. Well, mine was quite like many of yours. And, my goodness, was worse after the babies were born. Truly, it was an adjustment for him to not get my sole attention.

So, I've been there but they do eventually change.

He can only change if I don't kill him, right?

Mine has also changed since our first pregnancy, he is so much more understanding, and worries about me more, doesnt let me lift heavy things, and also seems protective of the bump... he is by no means perfect, or even close, but the way I see it is he has changed and matured soo much in the 5 years that we have been together, after 10 I think we will be good to go

Glad I am not the only one that notices the difference too.

10 years does make a huge difference. In a few weeks, it will be 10 years for Dan and I.
