I'm Currently Feeling: | I havent personally. The daughter of a lady who works for me paid for a private scan and was told it was a girl. She went out and bought everything accordingly and when it was born....you guessed it was a boy.
Apparently its more common than you think - she said that the staff she dealt with when taking stuff back said it happens all the time...... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Gosh i hope they were right on my scan, imagine all that excitement and then surprise, i cant tel you how i would honestly feel because when your pregnant you imagine what he/she will look like.
I know i would love him/her all the same but that has got to shock you. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I will be very annoyed if they've got it wrong, everything I have is pink and girly and cute. I know a few people who've been told it was a boy and it turned out to be a girl. I really want to have another scan to check but they're far too expensive |

I'm Currently Feeling: | In all these cases where they have been wrong, I wonder how sure the sonographers said they were?

I'm Currently Feeling: | No one I know has been told wrong, a few have been told that they weren't sure if they had the gender right (and in both cases they did actually have the gender correct) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | my friend was told "they think it was a girl" by NHS so had private sexing scan!!! I believe there was no doubt as the lady who carried out my scan said something about the 3 lines.... indicates a girl!! Then said its a baby girl!!
It would be really weird to now give birth to a boy.... especially as for so long I call her a her and have named her!!!
I know of someone who was told she was having a girl but then a much later scan (for health reasons) indicated she was having a boy!!! | | | | Status: Offline
