the little swine was lying in a awkward position so they couldnt take most of the measurements but said the heart and spine look fine let alone tell me if its a boy or a girl
but it was amazing seeing the difference in size and everything. pic was really good too (upload it when i get hold of OHs cable).
we've got to go back on the 6th May to be rescanned so we'll get to see him/her again.


however I have just booked a private sexing scan for thursday at 11am... OH has got the day off anyway so im going to suprise him!!!! hes as bad as me he's dying to know what it is.

Glad you managed to get booked in again so quickly and what a lovely suprise for your OH!! My LO was lying with her head right down so although they could get the sex easily enough, they had trouble looking at her heart and her brain - they had me drinking coffe, then something fizzy, doing starjumps, all sorts just to get her to move! They can be little buggers sometimes! Hope all goes well on Thursday for you! Good luck

Good luck for Thursday. Try to eat or drink something sweet, such as juice, etc. before your scan so that LO may be more active for the scan.

aww no the little monkey, I bet mine hides tommorow too! You got the 4d scan really quickly thats good i thought they wud be all booked up i booked mine well in advance lol. let us know the outcome :-)

*MUST HAVE* very cold fizzy pop...makes them wriggle and jiggle about like no ones business!!

well, on mon i didnt have anything to eat before my scan so maybe thats why lil pea was so lazy lol.

oddly enough the hospital (NHS) just told me to have water 1-2 pints whereas when i spoke to the private scanning clinic they said have the water and a sugary snack before hand.
