I've just come back from the midwife and she fully reassured me that all if fine with those low whacks

I think it depends on the way the baby is positioned i still get quite a few kicks/punches low down but sometimes high up as well.

some of little mans kick are sooo low I'm convinced he is trying to kick his way out lol then the next day he will kick up by my ribs x

Same here - I mean right down there lol But a few times I've been whacked a little higher. Not near my ribs though (yet!).
Sounds like your little man is very active in there! x

Hi, arhh so reassuring to read this!! My little boy has mad hours as i call them... he will kick and move for about an hour in the evening..and an hour atnight and anhour in the morning then go very quiet.. anyone else experience that?

im 24 wks hun and my little boy kicks me low down i think he likes it down there he seems more settled xxx

no not really he is a VERY chilled out baby but when he moves it tends to be for about 5-10 mins at a time lol x

If the baby is breech, they would be low whether you are 26 weeks or 36 weeks, so don't hold out for a date for the kicks to be higher up. The movements will change throughout your pregnancy anyway. You'll probably stop getting many kicks in a few weeks and start getting more squirms.
