Cool

22 Week Scan bit deflating

Hi Girls,

Well had my scan yesterday but was pretty miffed as LO done everything possible to stay away from the scan. The Sonographer had me lying upside down, on my side, sent me out to the toilet then eventually called a halt and said go eat some chocolate and have a cup of tea then come back and we try again. We did and she managed to get all her measurements which are all brill so LO is doing well but we couldn't get any pictures, well we did but they where rubbish my 12 week ones where better. So she said we have a very naughty/ stubborn baby which my DH said figures with me being mum, charming! Anyway i know the pictures are only crap because she only gave us the top half of the body as we didn't want to find out the sex but it don't make me feel better i think secretly i thought it was gonna be all clear and we would see and then it wouldn't be like i asked! well i don't know i think i'm rambling now, anyway baby is growing well and there where no abnormalities which is what i should be happy about and i certainly am.so thanks for letting me rant hope you're all well

Good news that all is well with LO... must be a bit frustrating though that baby wouldn't stay still

I hope mine stays still enough at ours (in a few weeks time) so we can find out the sex, I can't wait to fnd out!!

xx

You've just hit the nail on the head, i think because the 12 week scan was so amazing i was expecting to much and i can't beleive i'm upset at not seeing enough of baby when in 18 weeks i'm gonna have him/her for a very long time!! just takes a little while to get you're head straight i think!

Glad your LO is well! It is deflating when you look so forward to a scan and it doesn't go they way you had hoped. I had a rubbish 20 week scan so I know how you feel!
