sooo tired all the time?

I feel really tired most of the time, particularly when Im having a "bad day" ie:headache etc. Is this normal? I just want to go to sleep.. I havent had my iron levels checked so for all I know I could be anemic, tho I do take iron pills "just in case". Any advice, anyone else feeling this way??

I go through stages but keep waking up during night, wide awake! If I have had a long day or hard day I do find I have lots of nasty headaches and people say I do look drained / tired. xx

I also feel the same most days, I usually end up having a nap if my little men let me lol Nothing I find makes it better, its not like I don't sleep at night, although I am woken up once or twice by my little one needing the loo..I remember I felt the same on all my other pregnancies too, its no fun!

I still feel like that, I thought the tiredness would get better. I put some of it down to lifestyle with children, work etc. I was tested for aneamia early on but I am going to ask for another test because I am falling asleep before my LO's!!!..

Take care and rest when you can. Let us know how you get on if you mention to your MW next visit.

I am knackered and like you its worse on days when I have the horrible pregnancy headache. I went to get tested for anaemia and it wasnt that ( apparently anemia is uncommon until 3rd tri unless you have a bleed). I think its just hormones, although the gp said I had a virus.

Also be careful with the self medicating of iron as the supplements combined with that that you get via you diet may be too much ( esp if you arent anemic) maybe speak to your midwife. Its quite easy to take too much and its not good for the baby. Have you had a look at the skin inside your eyes?

Unless of course the person had anemia before pregnancy? which again I wouldnt know yes i looked at the skin under my eyes and its blood red. this is the only thing making me believe I dont have anemia. My mw said at my scan thurs I should request a MW to do the prick test for iron levels... but I dunno. Ive heard too many vits can be harming to the body im trying my hardest to do my best but it seems its going the opposite way on me. My diet is also poor- not very healthy at all if Im honest with you. Do you have a well balanced diet? and are you on prenatals? regarding the tiredness, it seems to also come on when im doing nothing... its like my body goes into shut down mode because its bored.
