So, I got to thinking, if people play music for their LO's, or poke them, and they start to kick away, does that mean they like it or they're getting pissed off?I always thought my LO kicked when I played loud music because he loved it. But what if he was trying to sleep and just getting annoyed, or kicking to shut me up?
I was wondering, do you believe your LO kicks because s/he loves it or because s/he hates it?

I've only felt two really hard kicks, one was when I was shining a flashlight at my stomach and I don't think she liked that very much as she quickly moved away from the light, and the other was the other night when Stan had his hand on my stomach, I'd like to think she liked that

I think it's both when they like it and when they don't. I guess there is no way of knowing which one is which!

I have often wondered the same thing. We played music to the belly the other day (not too loud) and LO kicked up a storm. Hope they liked the song.

Yeah, I like to think he enjoys the music I play for him rather than hates it.

i play piano so my LO is going to have to put up with it whether he/she likes it or not lol

I have played a musical toy on my tummy ever since week 21 and he kicks so softly when he hears it. I think he likes it. He tends to lie very still afterwards, like he is asleep.

I play her music often,waiting for her to kick!

I played some Slipknot to my son when he was in my tummy and he kicked like mad, then we played some westlife and didn't get a budge out of him lol.
