I'm Currently Feeling: | I really feel for all of you as I too have and am suffering with spd. All of Tam's advice is spot on. The reason it hurts most at night is because that is when the inflmation sets in because of what yoo have done through the day. One thing I have found is that when you are wearing the support it reminds you not to do too much during the day. I have been doing the pelvic floor and lower abdomnial exercises and these really help to support the bones. The other thing I use is one of those heat wraps you can heat in the microwave, the one I use has lavender in it and really relaxes me in th evening.
Being on this forum has really brought home how much more widespread this problem is than you think. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I agree with you Lynnie, even my physio said that she had seen ladies all day wit the same thing, so it is more common than you realise......
Cat, just take it easy babe and do get to your GP as soon as possible, because your GP needs to refer you for physio, not your MW.....so it could save you time!
How are you feeling now Lynnie hun, how's the pregnancy going? x |

How are you doing hunny? | I am doing OK thanks babe, I am in quite a bit of pain, but I am spending the next couple or few days chilling, as we are meant to be having quite a heavy weekend what with the decorations and preparing for christmas, so I will rest up before the work then probably pay for it all the following week and have to be lazy again.......but all I do babe, is NOTHING when i am in pain, unless I have the school run at the time
Take care babe! x |

Unfortunatly I have far to much DIY work to do! I been filling and sanding smoth walls today, and once Noah goes for his nap I will be painting. Ijust grit my teath and bear it. Idint find it hurts too much while Ido the stuff, its afterwards once I have sat down that it starts to hurt and Ifind I cant get up again. Still it gets me out of having to see to Noah in the night cause its to painfull for me to get out of bed. | | | | Status: Offline
