Finding it hard to button the top of my jeans!

Now, I still can fit into my jeans, but often have to sit with the top button unbuttoned - with long tops on of course! I don't want to audition for a part in 'The Royle Family' just yet.

When do you think I should shop for maternity clothes? I don't want to shop too early in case I have to buy bigger things later on. I did cautiously wander near Zara's Maternity section the other day and the assistant manager started to loudly throw his arms around and gushed over me for about 10 minutes. He also brought another assistant in to demonstrate how to wear maternity trousers (that elastic band thing on the trousers looks quite strange!). I kid you not. I only got out of there alive because I said that I would consider naming the child Brian after him if it was a boy!

toooo funny !!!!!

Although, I can't believe you're only just thinking about maternity clothes, you lucky thing. I would highly recommend some maternoty trousers/jeans.... you shouldn't have to worry about buying larger thing as you grow, coz they grow with you....

I was well into maternity clothes by your stage. I say buy them now, but try to get ones that will expand with you throughout your pregnancy.

hi ya, im the same (sitting here with buttons undone as i type lol)... i have brought some maternity combat's but havent worn them yet. they seem to have plenty of room for the bump to grow (mine go under bump though not over).

Im finding i need longer tops now-as i end up flashing my belly otherwise now its getting bigger.

keely.

I got a pair of maternity 3/4 lengths which will grow with me as u can adjust the little piece of elastic on the waist

but.....

to stretch my jeans further i used the hairband trick hahaha.... get a hairband and loop it thru the button hole of ure jeans then hook it over ure button works wonders for a little while longer ..... loved being in my fav jeans for an extra week lol

I'm 17 weeks now and still in most of my normal clothes - some trousers (incl jeans) are a bit tight - I lost weight in the first few weeks because I felt so awful!

I have already got some maternity clothes from last time and bought some trousers & jeans off Ebay but when I've tried them on they are too big! Think I'm going to end up with the hairband trick until my bump is big enough to fill the maternity trousers!!!!
