Question

Who out there is keeping the sex of their baby as a surprise?

I just wondered how many of you out there is waiting until the baby is born to find out the sex?

I have always intended on doing this as I like surprises (and hubbie and I don't mind whether we have a boy or a girl - and just hope that the baby is healthy).

But now, reading online, lots of people have found out the sex of their baby already and now I have started to get curious!!!! I feel like I want to find out early as well. However, I think I am going to try and hold out...

How many others of you are going to wait?

Hi Katherine,

I see you are from Scotland as well - I am from Aberdeen. It is much harder to find out the sex in Aberdeen NHS hospitals anyway as they have a policy that they will not tell you. If you want to find out, you have to go private.

We're waiting. We did with our first...and I LOVED the surprise...helped me get through those first few painful hours. Also, a bonus- since we don't know the gender, we are waiting to do the nursery (with our first we did it gender neutral). Since I will have just had the baby, it means I'll get to sit and direct my wonderful hubby and in-laws as to what to do and I won't have to do any of it Selfish...I know!

I hope it wasn't me who started your curiosity(my thread I mean)...
Keeping it as a surprise is great,I just can't handle that,I'm too impatient,I'd drive myself crazy...

It will be great when you have your baby in your arms and only then you find out what it is...It would make the day even more special...
