So I have my 24 week docs appt today & I am unsure whether he'll know what I'm there for?! lol

I know it sounds silly but he is my new doc & I get the feeling he's a bit on the useless side so I may have to prompt HIM on why Im there!!

Does anyone know what he should be checking/looking for at this appt??

Babies heartbeat

He'll probably check your weight and ask some questions as to how your pregnancy is going, etc.

Mine always weigh me, check my blood pressure, ldo the urine test for glucose and protein, and listen to the baby's heartbeat, and ask me if I have any questions or concerns

OMG!! I got there at 6pm only to be told that the doc wasnt there yday evening & no one bothered to ring me to tell me!!!
Instead when I got there they told me "oh we were wondering who had booked that appt coz they shouldnt have"!! Instead of wondering shouldnt they just have called me?

So they have squeezed me in today as a result of their incompetence!!

Hi ladies!

My docs appt went fine- I got to see the new female doc who is really nice.
She checked my urine, blood pressure, measured my stomach & felt the baby's position!
We also heard the heartbeart for the 1st time which was amazing!!
In my scans we only got to see heartbeart not hear it.

Doc is happy with everything & I have to see her again at week 30!
