After reading Mervs Mums & Lee-annes posts about their scans, I've decided 'Sod It, I'm moving my ticker too' !!

And I'm now 18 Weeks !!!!!!!!!!
Well, last night I tried my AngelSounds doppler again. I haven't been able to hear anything with it yet... and for the last 2 days i haven't felt Mia move, so I thought I'd try to find her heartbeat....

Anyways.... I waited til everyone was asleep, and laid in bed for ages and ages trying to find her, but nothing..... and then.....
......as I was pushing it a bit firmer into my tummy, I felt something push back !!! Just a tiny movement... but I was so excited !!!! I pressed again, and after about 30 secs, she kicked back again... I had to wake Derek up to tell him

I also have recieved my scan date for my 20 week scan, as they forgot all about me til last week!! It's on the 6th May @ 1:00pm. The day before Belles Girl Or Boy scan (pink, pink, pink, pink).

oooh nice one,
i get fed up with my angel sounds listener thingy, i find the heartbeat then it sods off somewhere else haha, i do hear loud thuds and theyre apparently kicks (dreading actually feeling the pain).

Yay!!! So pleased you felt her!!!! Oh its sooooo exciting!!!!

You do right moving your ticker - I was talking to my sister about dates moving last night and her scan put her foward 6 days and they didnt move her date. she moved her ticker tho so she could keep an eye on both dates and guess what - he was born 6 days earlier than her due date ie. on the scan date!!

*thinks to herself....4 weeks and I could be feeling my bub like Mia too....*

All I seem to hear are squeks and gurlges, and if i touch the actual unit I get a roaring sound. It's reall difficult to place it without hearing creaks from your fingers or if you try to tuck it in your waistband so that you don't hear you fingers, you hear the material move against it It's reealy annoying !!

I felt Mia flutter at 14 weeks, so maybe you'll feel her (or him) move soon.
I wish they had change my date now, as it would mean they'll do my c-section 4 days earlier ( if they agree that I need one ). And as they say, babe will come when it's ready.... Just makes you feel fab to jump forward a bit

I think I felt something yesterday tea time and just before bed. I didnt say anything to hubby incase it was wind!! It was like a gentle movement simliar to wind only this time it didnt end with a smell.....
It happened again when he got back from Emily's show so I told him 'I think I felt our baby move...' He was really pleased. I told him I wasnt sure by I had the same feeling twice when I was just sat quitely.

Great news Anne Marie, can't wait to feel little kicks. Felt the "bubbles popping" feeling as described by others here, but no butterflies yet. Baby was kicking away at the scan today but I couldn't feel a thing!

Also realised we are now due on the same day!

ooooh great stuff! I remember whe this little one kicked me on the outside for the first time, it was amazing! I could hardly believe it!!

ahhhhh thanks my lovely!! that made me smile reading that!! Glad little Mia is giving her mummy some kicks now!! I was listening to my babes HB last night and i found hers (or his lol) straight away, still going 160bpm (thats how i've calculated it anyway according to someones mathematics on here!!) I was talking to her as if shes a her and then i thought its just coming so naturally that i think shes a girl, i really hope i'm not wrong on this 1!
Cant wait to see ur 20week scan photos and then mine the day after!! yeah!!!!!

i also have been feeling her move, more in the evenings and she was having a right old wriggle last night as i cold hear here when using my doppler.x
