I'm Currently Feeling: | Breathing Difficulty My uterus is measuring quite large for 24 weeks, and it seems to be blocking my breathing in some way (perhaps my lungs haven't got enough room to expand anymore?). I have breathing difficulty all the time, sitting or standing, and I was wondering if any of you ladies know of any sort of treatment for this, or anything I could do to make the breathing easier. I swear to God I will have to breathe into a paper bag soon I feel like I'm hyperventilating all the time. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Anyone?
I haven't had this problem. Just the normal out-of-breath issues while walking up the stairs, etc. during pregnancy.
Hope someone can help! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | As leeanne said, my only problem is getting out of breath. That sounds quite bad, maybe you should ask a doctor? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I only have this problem if walking up stairs or a steep hill, having it while sitting down would concern me, if it were me I'd consult your MW. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I get like that but I'm asthmatic.. it might be worth going to the doctors to see if it could be a mild case of asthma. |

| I have the same problem and I am 25 weeks, 4 days! Even the most smallest movements gets me out of breath. I mentioned this to my midwife, GP and consultant, but they do not seem to be concerned. And I also have asthma. It would be interesting to see if you get anything different from your appointment than what I got. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I can have this issue too. It' normal to feel out of breath, but I read to not worry - baby IS getting enough oxygen. It's cos everything is squished, like you say. I wake up in teh night and have to take deep breaths, it's like my lungs just arent filling upenough!
Mention it to your MW but I woudnt worry excessively. http://www.womenshealthcaretopics.co...ess_breath.htm |
