I'm not much further than you, but from weeks 12.5-15, I was beat! I took naps, was in bed by 8, and up at 8:30 AM, and STILL was tired. I felt lied to by every pregnancy literature on the face of the earth that made it seem like I should be so energetic.

Since last week, I now have pregnancy insomnia! I would kill for my sleepy days! Plus, I wake up when I do sleep several times to pee, because my feet are cold, because I'm uncomfortable. Gotta love it!

Your body lets you know when you need tons of sleep, baby is probably going through a growth spurt.
I wouldn't worry too much, but you can always talk to your doctor if you're concerned.

Hope you get your energy up soon!!!

Edited to say: I changed prenatal vitamins, which seemed to help, and it got rid of my migraines. We have GNC here, and I use their prenatal pack.

I'm 20+1 and I'm still tired! I dont have that 'sheer exhaustion' like I had in 1st tri, but I describe it as my body being a battery, and I am running on the last little dregs, and I can't seem to charge up!

I get up, and as soon as I've had breakie I'm knackered again. Walking up the stairs knackers me out!!! I dont work, so take life relatively easy, but I must admit I feel better after a swim/walk (even though thats the last think I feel like doing at the time!)

I just want to lie on the sofa ALL the time and not move!!

I think what you're experiencing is so normal hun, don't worry. I still had 1st tri exhaustion up to about 15 0r 16 wks, you're still early on. Take it easy and get all the rest your body tells you to.
