How many kicks or flutters are we mean't to feel? xx

They say 10 a day at minimum I think - but your midwife can tell you more. I don't think they do kick charts as such like they used to. They usually start at about 28 weeks because before then your baby's movements are sporadic, and feeling less than 10 movements is quite common.

I was told at my 28 week Midwife appointment to start doing it, counting first thing in the morning, laying down on my back and counting every movement, roll, kick etc....she said to count 10 and if i'd got to an hour where i hadn't felt enough try having a drink or a walk around and if still not enough in 2 hours then to call her although not to panic as some days will be quieter, she said do the same in the evening as well

I've not made it to 2 minutes yet let alone an hour
