Oh Nicky - sorry the news wasnt better.

Wont they admit you and get you on some fluids to try to help?? My friend started early labour at 23 weeks and they kept her in and tried to prolong things as long as possible. She eventually gave birth at just over 25 weeks and although its been tough her twins have just come out of SBCU after 11 weeks.

I'm with you on the termination - you'd always wonder 'what if....'

I was offered a termination at 20 & 24 weeks, but couldnt cope with taking away the only chance. It is a hard choice to make, but you know in your heart if you are strong enough to hold on to that chance, no matter how small.

Hiya Mervs Mum

I dont think they'd admit me as baby isnt at a viable stage yet? maybe if this had happened 6wks further down the road this would be an option? but they dont expect me to make it that far to be honest.

The consultant said he felt powerless to help me as there is really nothing he can do... he mentioned putting a stitch into my cervix or trying to add some fluids but said neither of these things would do any good. All i can do is wait & hope that my chances improve with each day that goes by.

xx
