Oh my god, I'm so so sorry to hear this! I talked to my doctor about what happens if you have low amniotic fluid - he says that the baby just may have to be born earlier, but leaking amniotic fluid is a different story I'm not too sure about.. I'm so so sorry, let's keep our fingers crossed, I'll be praying for you tonight!

Thinking of you. Sometimes it is frustrating because OH doesn't want to think about it which can make it feel like it's all on you. We are all here to listen, feel free to spill. Take care of yourself and try to stay busy.

just thought i'd update you on what happened today...

I saw the midwife this morning & she referred me to a consultant who basically told me that i'm probably gonna lose my baby

He said that when this happens at this early stage of pregnancy - MOST people will go on to lose their pregnancy. I can't believe this is happening.

He listened to the baby's heartbeat & seemed encouraged by it (he didn't expect to find one) but all he could really tell me is that this next 2wks are critical.

There is nothing they can do, so i just have to wait and hope that I don't lose anymore amniotic fluid (haven't lost any since my bleed on saturday)

I dont know what else to say - I feel numb.

I cant explain how it feels to know that my baby is moving around inside me as i write this - yet I've just been told he'll probably die & there's nothing i can do to stop it. xx
Try to drink as much as possible. Get those fluid levels up!! I hope your LO holds on for you. Good luck.

Oh hun, please just try and stay positive, i have been told a numerous amount of times i could lose my baby and i was distraught. But i can only hope and pray that you are as lucky as me and your LO is strong and will fight. Its a good sign that you have not lost anymore amniotic fluid, so there is definate hope.
You need to stay as strong as possible to provide a good environment for your LO right now. so look after yourself, xxxx big
