I'm Currently Feeling: | Just dropping by to wish you lot's of luck with the Midwife and anti-biotic's
Let us know how you get on chicken.
Nicky can I also add, a friend of mine had to have a stitch in her cervix, but that was due to an incompetent cervix. It remained open.
She was on bedrest throughout her pregnancy but has a beautiful daughter to show for it.
Your cervix doesn't have to be open though to leak fluid. Mine wasn't.
Oh and my babies are no longer babies hehe..they are all grown up now. My youngest is now 6
I hope everything work's out well for you babe.
Lots and lots of
xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Nicky,
Just read through this thread. The same thing happened to me at 19 weeks. My waters broke due to a rupture. Have they mentioned the risk of infection to you. I was put on antibiotics straight away and kept in hospital so they must be quite optimistic as your not at the moment. I've got my fingers crossed for you and hope the fluids are enough to keep you going for a few weeks longer. PM me if you want to chat hun. Take care and make sure you take it bloody easy!! |
