Im sorry your going through this you seem so strong. As hard as it is try and stay as positive as possible.

My consultant told me at 16 weeks that my boy was probably going to die, now hes over 2 months old and noisey as ever lol

I hope your LO stays in there as long as possible, and wish yous all the luck in the world xx

Think i'll ask him on thurs morning & see what he says... although i'm assuming that the stitch only works for ladies with incompetent cervix caused by weight of baby pressing down on it & forcing it to open (preventing baby from being born prematurely)? so if fluid is leaking a stitch won't make any difference as fluid would still get through??

I'll definitely ask him to clarify this for me though so thanks for mentioning it.

the same thing happened to me 5 years ago, i bled every day from being 9 weeks ish preg til he day i had him @ 38 weeks. my waters pretty much went at 16weeks and i was offered the same advice as you. i told the doc to shove it. i was put on complete bedrest for a week in hospital etc and after discharge from hosp was on 4hour temp taking for the infection risk etc. was scanned every week n generally was in a daze until ds was 'viable' then doc said ok take it easy you'll be fine now... ur buba is a fighter hun, rest up like the doc says. if you wanna chat, pm me

Thanks for sharing your success with me hun... im feeling more & more optimistic as the day goes on & people are coming forward with positive comments.

This site has been a HUUUGE help to me throughout my pregnancy & you really are a fantastic bunch of people so thanks again everyone xx
