I didn't have to have a full bladder for my 13 week or my 20 week scan.

The scan booking sheet that I got said to drink two 8oz glasses in the hour and a half prior. Though the tech said that she didn't like my full bladder.

Mine says no eating after midnight and to have 8 glasses of water up until 1 hour prior to the scan.

Yeah right! Learned a long time that I cannot handle that many glasses of water prior to a scan. Two was good for me and even then they told me to go and relieve some. HAHAHA

Mine didn't have any food/water instructions. They did make me use the toilet before hand though. Seems they're all different. I would call and ask, just to be sure. Good Luck, I hope LO cooperates!

I've never been given any instructions.
But before each scan I have a urine test anyway. So I have an empty bladder no matter what they say. My gynae's never said anything. *shrug*
