Congratualtions, I havnet had my baby yet so cant give you any advise above having a baby so soon after having a C-Section I just wanted to say that Dr's cant TELL you what to do, they can only ADVISE.

If you wanted to have a natural birth after having a C-section then thats up to you, they cant force you into another c-section. They can advise you on what they think is best tho, the desision is for you to make. I'm sure you will make the best one of you & your baby.

I think it depends on how they cut your uterus. I know my friend who had an emergency c-section had a vertical cut on her uterus to give the babies the most room to get out, and now she doesn't have the option of a vaginal birth. But as far as I know if the cut is horizontal on the uterus (Lower Uterine Segment Caesarean Section), you can still have a vaginal birth. Not sure about the healing time though.

Hi sweetie, I wasn't as quick as you but I had my caesar 11 months ago and am now 17 weeks pregnant. I asked my obstetricain at my last appointment and he said it should be fine to try for natural next time as long as you agree to have the little 'gelco' - needle thing- ready in the vein in your hand in case you need another emergency caesar or have complications. I'm really excited to go for it and try for a natural this time round, had a caesar due to his heart rate becoming unsteady all of a sudden, but obviously just want another healthy happy baby first and foremost. Good luck I really hope you get that experience if its what you want! xxx

Hi, My children are 11 1/2 months apart and have unfortunately for me both been c-sections. The first was a crash section and the second an emergency although I was trying for a vbac and the hospital were happy for me to, however my waters broke and labour never got established. As I had already had a c-section they would not induce labour so I had to have another section as we had gone passed the 48 hour time limit for infection.

You should have a consultants appointment at the hospital as you have had a previous section. They will discuss all the options with you but unless you have any problems from your last section they should give you the option of a natural birth and mine were quite insistant that I try. Hope you get your answers soon xx
