Anyone else with extreme pain in their hips??

My hips have been a bit sore lately... a product of everything "loosening", I guess. Last night though... OMG. I tossed and turned from side to side and it hurt BAD. I don't know why the big change, but I don't like it. It feels better when I sit up... but I can't sleep sitting up! Oy... not looking forward to getting into bed tonight.

OWIE!!!

OK, thanks for letting me vent.

Feel for you hunny. I get pains in my left hip, so sometimes I sleep on my right side for a bit.... The other thing I do sometimes is to lie on my side and roll a bit towards my tummy using my other leg to stop me from going all the way and use a pillow to prop the rest of me up

I used to have to turn every 30 minutes in bed due to my hips, but now I have a big pillow between my knees and ankles and it's lots better, now it's moved to my shoulders

I have sore hips too! In my first pregnancy I had it late in 2nd or early 3rd trimester (together with carpal tunnel syndrome! Nice!) but it was much, much earlier in my 2nd pregnancy, at 6 weeks! This time, I started to have them just before 10 weeks. I can't complain as it'll continue until after the birth. A long maternity pillow does help a lot!

I have been getting the same thing lately. The only thing I can tell you that might cheer you up is that it doesn't happen every night! It happened to me last week 3 nights in the row.. then it was better.. then not so great last night. .

Put a pillow between your knees it does help even though it doesn't always do the trick! I couldn't believe actually how painful this is!!

I have been going through the same thing for about 3 weeks now. Now no matter what side I am on my right hip hurts. I have tried the pillow thing and it doesnt seem to help. Like happyface said some nights are better then others. I am wondering if yoga will help?
