Back pain..too early??

I had a quick question...for a week or so now I have been having back pain in my mid back on the left side. It gets to a point where if Im sitting I cant get comfortable..and need to lay down.

I am just wondering if its too early to have back pain in the pregnancy..I thought this was a third trimester issue...

Anything I can do for this back pain??

i am having problems withmy left side thin i have spd too you have hip / pelvic pain ?

nope no hip or pelvic pain..just the nagging back pain..

what is SPD?

Back pain can be caused by hormones relaxing your ligaments, and since hormone levels peak at around 12 weeks it's not too early for your pain to be pregnancy related. Try taking some paracetamol, a warm bath or a hot water bottle.

From where you described.. could it be a UTI? Sounds weird I know but they present themselves oddly in pregnancy- I had an awful one a month or two ago and the only symptom was pain roughly in the area of my kidneys!

ive got the exact same symptoms as you, but mine is in my right side, i rly dont no what it is

good to know that I am not alone. I am going to get it checked out at my doctors..because come evening time I cant be sitting for more then an hour before I need to lay down.
