thats ridiculous if you had concerns you should have been able to keep your appointment. Even if she was busy she could have told you she would be running late rather than messing you around like this.

How annoying. They should always make time for pregnant patients, that's what they're there for x

i'm not happy about not being seen til 28 weeks. when i asked if i can be seen before that she said they're not really "allowed" to book earlier appointments unless theres a medical reason. isnt having a baby a medical reason to be seen by a midwife??? madness if you ask me...

*hugs* and sorry you've been put out for no reason. I'm lucky enough that my mws is round the corner because she couldnt get in when it snowed but I turned up for my appoinment on the off chance!! It's not so bad when it's round the corner. Totally off topic but it did make me literally laugh out loud that your location has been starred out in the middle!! Pmpl I thought that's odd.... then realised what your location is... and it clicked hahahaha maybe it will give you a laugh, but you've probably noticed it before xxxx

I have sympathy for you all. Thankfully, I have not had to see a MW. I have seen my OB/GYN for all my regular appointments and a doctor at my perinatalist. It seems that dealing with MW is a horror.

I had a similar problem a while ago ( the MW was sick for my first appt and there was no-one to replace her) and I placed a complaint. They sent me a letter saying there wasn't enough staff and guess what phone call I received 2 days later? They'd gotten another MW so now there's two and I'm on the new one's list...
