Best Monitor to purchased

Hi everyone...
I have always thought about getting a regular, sound only montior but recently heard people talking about video monitors. I guess what I am wondering is, is it really worth spending the money to be able to watch the baby sleeping?

i would say so but my sister has got one and everything interferes with it!!!! dont get the summer one is my advice xx

Hi, I was advised not to get the video one.... I don't think I will spend all night looking at bubs and it will be a very low light in there so it would be difficult to see. I have read lots of reviews and spoke to alot of people and have decided to go for the Angelcare one which has a movement sensitive mat under it so if the baby stops breathing it sounds an alarm. Read a review from one lady who said that her son has cerebal pausey and he has stopped breathing twice, the alarm has saved his life! Here is the link to buy it on Amazon.

I don't think a video one would be worth it, for the same reasons stated above. It just doesn't seem necessary.
