I'm having this too and I'm suspecting it might be kidney stones. My mom gets them all the time and she doesn't get the severe pain with it like most people do. I seem to have some uti symptoms (like really really frequent urination, even when not much is in there), but no burning feeling like I usually get with a uti.

i had this today on the way to my appointment which convinced me all the more than I had issues with my kidneys, since last week the dr found almost 4+ sugar in my urine. I get there today and all was clear... so I have no idea. Infact I still have the pain now.

well someone on the may babies thread said that you can get pains for a few days after the end of a uti due to your kidneys recovering. but then the doc wasn't even that sure i had a uti and gave me the antibiotics as i was showing some white cells and had kidney pains but only had a tiny bit of protein and none of the other indicators. so am just drinking lots of water and hoping for the best.

hadn't considered kidney stones. the pain at the moment isn't too severe. more like a heavy ache. more than discomfort but not quite pain if you know what i mean? obviously if it hasn't gone in a few days i'll go to the docs again.

That was meee
I think if it was kidney stones the pain would be a lot worse- I've had bad kidney infections every couple of months for around a year now, no closer to finding out the cause, but the pain is unbearable. It's literally like being stabbed in the kidneys, no exaggaration. It makes my eyes swell up, and I spend the duration of the infection vomiting, sweating like a bitch and sometimes (depending how lucky I am ) with a migrane. Apparently kidney stones are worse

I always thought the same, but my mom gets them all the time and she doesn't get severe pain with them. Either that or she has a super high pain tolerance, because the stones she passes are huge!
