Anyone else so bloomin tired still?

Yawn.... I'm 19+2 and I'm STILL tired all the time! My 1st trimester I was like a zombie and could sleep for 15 hours a night! My hubby kept telling me I would bloom in the 2nd tri but I'm still waiting! I do feel tonnes better than the 1st tri, but I am still needing loads of sleep (10, 11 hours a night). Anyway I got up at 10:30am this morning, and I've sat and had a cuppa and my cereal and pottered on here, and now it's 11:20am and I feel whacked again! No energy! I was going to clean the house, do the ironing, so swimming and allsorts today! I've been tested for anemia but I'm fine.

Dont want to make this sound extreme, as it's not extreme, tiredness, just general tiredness like I never really have any 'zest' or energy.

Anyone else still tired? xx

PS maybe if I give into it and slob I'll feel worse? Maybe if I force myself to get off my arse and do the housey stuff I'll feel better? Right, going to do that! x

Oh yes you are not alone at all. During first tri it wasnt so much tiredness that bothered me it was shear exhaustion where i literally had no energy, like i hadnt eaten for a week & couldnt literally move, but i didnt feel tired.

as i got to about 9-10 weeks the tiredness kicked in. All i want to do is sleep & i feel so guilty as i struggle to do anything in the house. My OH works really long hours & works all weekend, yet i'm off on a weekend & still struggle to get anything done. I have to try & stop myself from just putting my head down on the arm of the setee because i know i'll fall asleep. I even had about 16 hours sleep sunday & i was still shattered.

Its really hard at work, I try to go to bed early but i still wake up tired. Right now i just wish i could be my cat & sleep 22 hours a day!

My friends tell me that they had tiredness all the way through & never had that blooming period, great!

Hi all, well I am now 21 weeks and I have had the extreme tiredness the whole way through and really still struggling with it now!! It really gets me down. I struggle at work doing a full day and when I get home I am lucky to make it to 8pm without going to bed. I feel really back as I go to bed by 8 and I am up at 6 to get rwady for work so I barely see my husband at all...... also come the weekend I am so exhausted I start crying at nothing where I am so drained!! I really hope I get my energy soon!!x

I also get very tired and find it so hard to get motivated. I have quite low blood pressure (90/60) and I have read that this can have an impact and make you feel more lethargic so just thought I'd mention it as that may also ring true with some of you ladies! My husband works so hard and it's all I can do to get myself washed and dressed most days!

I must admit though when I have an appointment to get to or something I feel so much better on the days that I'm up, dressed and out and I think sitting around makes me feel worse. My hubby keeps saying I am working hard making a baby bless him but it's hard to give yourself a break when you don't really feel like you're doing anything whilst you know your body is working so hard! xxxxx
