when do you take out your belly button ring?

hi, i just wondered if any of yous on here had your belly button pierced, if so when did you take yours out? or have you still got it in? ive still got mine in and it doesnt feel tight or streached but i was wondering if im ment to take it out now?

MissJess,a girl on here who is due any day now still has her belly button ring.Check out some of her bump pics in the third trimester board in the bumps thread,you'll see and you can ask her about it,when will she take it off and how it looks...

I was thinking this today. I took it out in my 1st pregnancy at about 5months i think and it went in as soon as i'd had him. I think i'll just wait and see this time.

did you just decide to take it out last time or did it become sore?

I just decided to take it out as i had images of it splitting as i was huge!!
I reackon whatevers most comfortable for you, i'll probably take mine out again but with or without a belly button bar i suppose it could stil stretch and split.

I took mine out at 3 months. Don´t know if I´ll be putting it back in or not, depends on the state of my belly when I´ve had him!

I think I'll have mine up until it becomes impossible or painful.I'll wait and see how things go.But I'll wait as long as possible.
I just don't want to get it out!I love it...
Belle,when you had Joshua was it painful to put it back in?

Hello, I have mine pierced too I was told by my midwife that you dont need to take it out at all, you can buy plastic bars which are much longer and provide extra space or your belly to expand. This is hopefully what ill be doing unless it becomes painful.
Not sure if it'll go back in after the birth, it depends what my belly looks like!!!
