Him working won't stop you from being entitled, just one of you has to be on any of the benefits someone listed before xx

im going to have to claim job seekers up til 29 weeks which sucks then il be moving on to income support to which im hoping will help out abit more xx

Yeah the sure start grant is £500 which is paid to help you buy things for the baby....the £190 is for yourself....although i will be spending mine on my princess lol xx

They don't live together which means she'll most likely be treated as a lone parent for claim purposes.

It's around the same as JSA, and then when you have the baby it'll go up to (I think) £64.30

im not to sure i think its not much more but i heard its better..benifits is all new to me dunno where to start lol but i know once you've had the baby you get income support,child something and tax credits ..something like that which really boosts the money up x
