I'm Currently Feeling: | Heartbeats When I went for my last appointment I had an ultrasound too. During the ultrasound which was first the heartbeat was 134 about 10 minutes afterwards in the exam room it was up at 159 and all I did was get off the one table and move to another so no real activity. It seems like such a big difference for such a little time.
Anyone know what their bumps heartbeats are/were and what they are having, or if they've had something like this happen to them |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had a home doppler & the digital display often played with my mind at first - It would be 170's to 150's even down to 120's/130's! I think it depends on babies activity & you won't always physically feel it. Thats all I could put it down to. I did ask MW about it once and she said normal.
Nothing to worry about |

| Mine has ranged from 152-168 on the home doppler, but was about 135 when I had my scan and MW said it was normal for babys heartrate to fluctuate as it is now in a routine of being active at different times of the day |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i found this: Quote:
The heart rate of your baby fluctuates as they grow and as they move. Heart rates start out slower, and then by 8-10 weeks run in the range of 170-200 BPM (beats per minute).
If your baby moves, his or her heart rate goes up, just as your heart rate does with movement. However, none of these is related to the gender of your baby.
| It was an article about the theory of HB relating to gender....or not....

Nothing to worry about | That's exactly right Wobbs! The heartbeat is dependent on the baby's activity at the time.
Think about it. When we run, our heartbeat goes up but when we are at rest, our heartbeat is lower. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've got a doppler that we use regularly. At my first scan the HR was 178@8weeks...then it's steadily dropped and now it holds pretty good around 145-155 bpm. |
