I hope we're not destined to be in nappies forever because this is my first baby and the exact same thing happens to me when I am sick!!!

I think for me I'm so violently sick, nothing stands a chance and also noticed at my last scan that although id just emptied my bladder before we went in the sonographer pointed out that my bladder was still full so I reckon its not really emptying properly maybe because of the position its in or the longer ureters therefore there's always something in there to be expelled so to speak.

Hope this is common!!

I was wondering about it not emptying properly because I always try and go to the toilet when I feel sick but it still happens. Ok I am panicking a little less now lol.

This is my first baby and a few wks ago I had real problems, whenever I coughed or sneezed I would dribble! I sometimes wear pantyliners just to feel a bit more secure but doing my pelvic floors have helped. Spoke to Doc/MW/Hospital MW and they all said it's so common. It's down to a hormone called Relaxin or something which makes everything relax and soften. Oh the joys of being a woman/pregnant!

This is totally normal though xx

Thank you, its good to know I'm not alone. Its not something I feel I can bring up with my friends that have got kids in case they look at me in horror and say no that never happened to me! lol

The joys indeed.

I have to lock the door now (my children and husband tend to wander in when I being sick - my children normally decide they need the toilet) but now I dont want to admit it to them lol. well hopefully when I stop being sick I wont have so much problem*fingers crossed*
