Baby's Movement and Sitting Position

Would anyone know why my baby has taken to sitting on one side of my womb and seemingly has not budged from that spot? Is it normal? I've also never felt much movement but I've felt even less over the past few days however I had a scan this week and all is well and the heart montior I have shows baby is fine too - so why doesn't it move much???? I'm 23 weeks and a little worried.

If you're worried contact your MW hun.
I still have days when baby is quiet, though I think its when mine must turn round or something and have its back to my belly cos I dont feel many kicks then, or they're very feint.
I dont know what side of my womb it's on, i dont know if I could tell.
Hopefully your LO will start kicking like mad again soon!!

I get lots of bumps, punches and kicks at various points throughout the day, and these are usually all over my belly, but bubs does seem to spend most of the time on my right side. I can see this because my tummy is actually misshapen on that side and much harder. Don't forget they sleep for like 18 hours a day or something, so i think it's fairly normal that they should have a 'favourite' place to sleep!

My baby has been by my right hip since I started feeling movement

I had scans at 17w, 21w and 22w and she's been head down right next to my hip all the way through. And my MW came last night, and she found her hb right next to my hip

I think she's just lazy and doesn't like moving much! xx

My baby was sat on the same side from 20 weeks till last week. She may of moved and then gone back but that is where she stayed. I have had many quiet days. I think what happens is her back is on my side so when she kicks out , she is kicking nothing. Never take this for granted though , and always get checked out. I had to almost weekly. Babys will find a place they are comfy and stay there. She moved last week and is not down my middle.
