I had ketones and Leukocytes in my urine for the whole duration of my second pregnancy. It was a never ending cycle. I would go to the midwife, have my urine dipsticked which would show it up. Then they would send a sample off to the hospital which would come back negative for anything.
The only thing that was wrong me was anemia.

Seriously, if you are that worried then call nhs or the midwife but please don't make yourself sick with worry. I'm sure everything will be fine x
thank you so much for that i am an exteremly anxious person as you can probably tell and before this pregnancy I had no reason to visit a dr for around 2 years. I was happily going about my business being a mum to my son. I felt healthy, I felt fine, no need for concern (i have phobia of drs etc) so I had no reason to go and see adr. I go yesterday, 1 week after my previous appointment which was absolutely spot on, to be scared to death by the possibility of gestational diabetes and now this "new finding" has appeared. For someone with a fear of everything and anything relating to health, its very scary Im really thankful for the advice I get from you girls, you're my only wayof trying to keep sane... so thanks to you allxxxxx

It sounds to me like you might have a UTI... I wouldn't worry. I have never heard that ketones mean impending miscarriage. I would take that piece of information with a massive piece of salt because it doesn't really make much sense tbh.

You're fine, baby is fine. Don't worry and ask more questions when you see the doctor and something doesn't make sense to you. Google is not your friend for health related issues.

Ok, depth breaths!! I have ketones most of the time, it's because I can't eat and drink enough due to my hypermesis (severe ms), so if you get good healthy food and plenty of fluids into you you should see a sifgnificant improvement in your ketones. Bascially ketones are produced as your body has no food in it to produce energy so it burns your fat stores instead which produces ketones and over a prolonged period causes weight loss. It can indicate Diabetes too and with your sugar they'll probably check that out. However I have never once been told I am risk of miscarriage due to my ketone levels, try not to google, it's a our worst enemy!!! Try and see your doctor/midwife and get some reassurance otherwise your BP is going to sky rocket from all the anxiety! Hope you feel better soon x

hi
I dont know about glucose BUT I get ketone when I dont eat and drink enough. I have them ANYTIME I dont eat and in my last pregnancy I was admitted to hospital (not related to this!) and had ketones the whole time I was there because the meals were so far between! as soon as I started eating more regularly again they went away. I vaguely remember having them in my first pregnancy when I had a urine infection as well.

I have had ketones means you havnt eaten or drunk enough and your body is using reserves. I have had it twice and just get told to eat.

I was at the doctors yesterday she tested my urine has she wanted to check for ketones and she explained that this is an indicator of a uti.

She said when you are pregnant you will normally not feel burning sensation but you will get pain in the stomach and back. So the only way to confirm is by testing your water.

Relax as us non professionals panic over alot! x

I would got to your dr's or at least get them to call you!! It is not good to stress ALL weekend, when it is probably just due to lack of food and drink xxx

There will be an emergency midwife on call all the time so try and call her aswell! Just call someone hun and put your mind at rest!

Hope all goes well xxxxxx
