We're doing both NHS and NCT.
yeah it's the role play that I don't like I would much rather sit and the back and just watch! I didn't realise there were different ones?! I thought it was just your hospital that provide them?! sorry for being dosile!

I went to my first tonight and wasn't looking forward to it at all!

There were 7 couples in total and the midwife instantly put us all at ease and I really enjoyed it in the end. My hubby learnt an awful lot from the experience and we'll definitely be going back for the next two sessions.

I never went to any with my son and I wish I had.
I've told OH he better not say he's not going or I will be mad! Lol
Aswell as there being info I might not have already, and ability to ask loads of Q,s I like the idea that there will be other people going through the same thing as me and hopefully make some new friends!

I'm going to try them but feel aprehensive but hope they will be useful

Dont worry about age, I am at the opposite end of the spectrum, I suppose most are in their 20s / early 30s but we're all there for the same reason x

Not at all, the National Childbirth (care?) Trust do some too, you have to pay for them. Pretty sure they'll be role play too, boo hiss. I hate attention, how am I going to cope with labour!

I decided not to go because after looking at the content I don't really feel that they are worth the money. I know that my DH does not want to go to them and I really don't feel I will gain much from them. I am sort of making up for it though because my Mum lives quite far away and is coming to stop with us for a week after the birth so I guess I will have someone there who has had three kids for a week if I get overwhelmed. Also, I am considering going to the bump and baby meets in my area to meet new mums and am contemplating aqua-natal classes but keep getting put off when I try on my maternity swimsuit.
