Pain & Pink Discharge.....

All day yesterday, I had like crampy pain, a bit like period pains, tht came and went, but just ignore it as stretchy pains.

Last night I went to the loo at about 8pm, and when I wiped there was a bit of pink !!! Of course, I immediately started to panic.

My hubby just told me that I've been overdoing it, and that I need to rest, and not to bother ringing the MW.

I have been doing alot of walking, which is a bit naught with my SPD, and I've done loads of housework, and I went and picked up some bits from Freecycle yesterday, and did a bit of heavy lifting....... It's half term for the kids at the mo, so I have to be active with the kids or else they'll start killing each other !!!

Anyways, he sent me to bed at 8:30 last night, and I was out before my head hit the pillow. This morning, I'm on knicker watch again... thought I was over that in 1st Trimester !!! There's no more pink, but I'm still a bit crampy.... I'm not sure what to think really......

p.s Lewis was really sick yesterday, just lept throwing up, and he's still in bed now... could it be that I just have a bit of his bug, although I don't feel ill....

I'm really confused, and hubby has made me think I'm worrying about nothing....

I had some pink too in my second tri. Maybe you should ring your doctor like I did, but because mine was just a little bit they wasn't unduly worried. Hope everything goes well for you xXx

I had pink spotting in the second tri. I even made my friend come and look at the tissue to make sure I wasn't imagining it.. I ignored it and it didn't happen again. Hopefully it'll be the same for you. If it does happen again though, I'd get checked out incase!

Hi, i had one day where i had discharge that was an odd colour, but it was more like old blood. So probably not the same thing, did a bit of reading up and found out it could just be when my period would normally have come. My gp wasnt concerned.

But if you're getting aches/pains-maybe you should ask your midwife to see what they say to be on safe side?

Hopefully nothing to be worried about though,

Thank you sooooo much. I'm really not worried about the crampy feeling, I recognise it as stretching.. it was the pink that I was worried about... such a relief to know it does happen

I just rang the midwife, and she said it sounds like a bit of cervical erosion... I also mentioned how early on in the pregnancy I lost a twin and then after the twin had completely gone, they said I had a 1cm heamatoma. She reckons it could be that just nigglingagain. Anyways, they're gonna have me in at 1 to have a listen in to the heartbeat to put my mind at rest

I am sure everything is fine. But you are right to phone the midwife if you are worried. I am sure everything will be fine at your afternoon appointment.
