I'm Currently Feeling: | Itchy bump!!!! Should I be worried? My whole bump gets itchy, I've no rash etc.
I admit I did 'google' it and I know I shouldn't have but it said that I'm gonna have a load of and I quote;
"Ugly, huge stretch marks!"
How rude!
I've been using cream / oil since very early on so I'm hoping it's not true!

xx xx | Hiya mines gets quite itchy and i've read somewhere that if you're meant to have stretch marks ie if your mum had them then no matter how much cream/oil you use you're gonna get them! My mum passed away many years ago so not sure if she did so i'm rubbing as much AVENT on as possible in the hope that she didn't and it may work.Although i wasn't doing my bum and i noticed a couple of marks [which the jury is still out on] on there so i have started piling it on there. So don't know if this helps but just keep moisturising as it makes the itching stop if nothing else. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Itchiness is very normal especially around your bump + breasts, it's due to stretching skin but that doesn't necessarily mean you will get "ugly, huge" stretch marks. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Itchiness is because of stretching. Just because your skin is stretching though, doesn't mean you'll get stretch marks. Depends how stretchy your skin is |

| I get this too! Maybe I should be applying the stretch mark cream more religiously. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I haven't got much of a bump yet, but I also have been getting itchy skin around this area. I did have a suspicion that it might mean skin stretching - leading to stretch marks down the line.
People have told me that you either tend to get stretch marks or you don't and that creams don't work. I am hoping that is not true as a) I have got stretch marks on my inner thighs from putting on weight and then losing it in my early 20s and b) I have just forked out over £20 for some Clinique Body Butter. I can hope... |

| I have a bit of itchyness every now and then too. Also just believe it's the skin stretching.
I'm piling on the tissue oil and cream though in fear of splitting open right down the middle though lol. The skin around my belly button is getting really tight now. And to think I've gotta get much bigger
I have a few stretchmarks on my hips and upper thighs from gaining alot of weight just after school. But thing is I was naughty and didn't look after myself. My skin was really really dry. I never moisturized.
I don't think my mom has any from her pregnancy. I suppose I should really ask her. | | | | Status: Offline
