Doesnt sound very nice for you hun!

Do you think you may have slept funny on it or maybe pulled a muscle? Or maybe LO is sitting on a nerve?

I dont know what to suggest if you cant get hold of your midwife but hope it feels better for you soon.

Make the most of it and try and sit down and relax if you can.

xx

I had a touch of sciatica at exactly the same time, around 18 weeks. It only lasted a few days and I just took paracetamol. Not much else you can do. Try changing the position you sit in. It's basically pressure on your sciatic nerve that's causing the shooting pain.
Hope it feels better soon x

I had a pain in my Buttock for a while

My OH found it hilarious when i kept saying 'ooo my buttock' everytime i moved. Have no idea what it was but it took a week for it to stop hurtin.

Might have been a trapped nerve or something. Hope yours stops hurtin soon!

Aww I so badly wanted to say something like "Well then tell him to stop whining and make his own freaking breakfast."

Hope you don't suffer too long. I can't say I've suffered with that. Only lower back pains when I've been in one awkward position for too long.

Does it hurt when you sit down?

I fell on my bottom when snowboarding a couple of years ago and since being pregnant it's started hurting again so I have to sit on a cushion It's because I've got a wonky tailborn from falling on it, and pregnancy has made it uncomfortable again as my ligaments have loosened (MW says).

If you think a cushion would help I'll send you the link for mine - the cushion I have has totally solved the problem.

Hope you feel less sore soon!

I've had this in my right buttock as well. It hurts when I walk but not when I am sitting. Didn't really think about going to the docs as it seems to be easing off now. I just put it down to things jigging around and using muscles I don't normally use. Could be sciatica I suppose but never had that before so don't know. What other delights will we have to go through...first tiredness, then sickness, then headaches, now pains in the bum!
