Bump dissapearing when lying down - Page 2

You can see my 26 week bump in my avatar. When I lie down I have a bump below my belly button, but after that it goes flat again. I wonder where it all goes...

It happens to an extent. it goes smaller but its still there. but obviously the bigger you get the more it will stay big when you lie down

omg it happens to me 2!
i sometimes think where on earth can the baby be coz my stomach goes ultra flat but soon as i stand up its all there again haha x

For me, it depends on the time of day. If it's night and my stomach is hard, it doesn't go away. If it's still soft, it will go away quite a bit!

I look crazy when I lie down now! Like I've got a big balloon from just above my belly button down and anything above looks completely flat and hollow where all my organs fall back! lol

Took until I was about 18 weeks for bump to stay when I lied down, but at this stage uterus is size of a fottball so pretty hard to hide! lol

lol I wish. I lay down and still can't see my toes. although I am 25+ with twins and am measuring 32 weeks..lol.

I know this is a bit of an old thread but does anyone else get the same thing when sitting down?

I do, both when sitting and lying down. Also, when standing it's hard as a rock, but sitting/lying it gets soft and mushy.
